Born in Uganda to Rwandese refugee Tutsi parents, I began life in a world of segregation, civil war, and abject poverty. Unable to return to the war-torn place of my origin at the time—and plagued by violent discrimination in my adopted country—I fought to find safe haven. As a child, the only constants were my grandfather, our cows and dogs. Because of Grandpa’s wisdom and our bond, I decided to pursue our love of animals as my profession. This is why I became a veterinarian.
I studied Veterinary medicine at Makerere University, Uganda; one of the best universities in Africa. I moved to America to advance my training with an internship in Kentucky and to give my family a better life. I took the American Veterinary Association required tests; ECFVG/AVMA (at Mississippi State University) to get licensed in the USA.
Joseph House
A non-traditional student at Purdue University, Joe combines his forestry experience with technological innovation. His passion for forest management began in the scouting program, where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, and deepened during his studies at Hocking College. After joining the Indiana Army National Guard to advance his education, Joe transferred to Purdue's Forestry program and began working as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Forest Advance Computing and Artificial Intelligence Lab. After seeing how technology could change the way we see and manage our forests, he founded Digital Silva in August of 2024.
Jyotisman Rath
Jyotisman Rath is a young avid researcher from India who specializes in sustainable electrochemical energy conversion and storage. He earned his Integrated BTech-MTech in Chemical Engineering from Institute of Chemical Technology Mumbai – IOCB and is currently pursuing PhD from Purdue University. Jyotisman has been awarded with multiple international research opportunities in the past, including the MITACS Globalink Internship for summer research in Canada and the A*STAR SIPGA Fellowship for research at a Government Lab in Singapore. Beyond academia, Jyotisman excels as a writer, speaker, and content creator, with experience in leading organizations and organizing events also. He believes life becomes fascinating when you focus on what lies beyond the visible - a perspective he aims to share through his talk.

Alex Golimbievsky is a passionate serial entrepreneur and investor who founded and led five technology companies, two of which resulted in 7- and 8-figure acquisitions. Alex has coached hundreds of entrepreneurs and small business owners with revenues ranging from $100k to $10mm. His insights and coaching landed him as a repeat coach & judge on The Blox, an entrepreneurial reality TV show that streams on Prime Video.
In his imaginary spare time, Alex travels with his wife, fathers two young entrepreneurs, reads an irresponsible amount of sci-fi books, eats ugly food, and plans his eventual colonization of Mars.
